Palindrome’s only settlement is the domed town of Astrogo, and everyone on Astrogo works for Lady Yemar. She is a former pirate who set up this little colony with her ill-gotten gains. Palindrome is a waystation for travellers rather than a destination.

Party Knowledge: Lady Nitrane has found out that Lady Yemar uses the profits to pay for her astoundingly expensive life-support needs; she was severely wounded in a raid and exposed to an experimental bioweapon. All of her organs except her brain have been replaced multiple times, and even her brain requires constant maintenance and augmentation. She travels to Theev several times a year for medical treatments.

(Re)Quest: Lady Yemar needs a cure for her disease. She believes that an Ancient device could save her, but they would be almost impossible to find. Her other hope is that it is possible that the weapons researcher who created the bioweapon could create an antidote. The researcher now works for an Imperial megacorporation on Tobia. if the party were to find him and bring him to her, she would be most grateful.

Downport: The downport is small, with only 8 bays. They are located in a ring around a central port building. Each bay has a dome that can be erected to cover the landed ship and provide a breathable atmosphere in which people can work.

The port is nominally a B class starport but no space craft can be built here.
